Mary Kathryn Kaye, a Sarasota, Florida native, fell in love with Atlanta’s history and historic neighborhoods in 1983 when she began her college education at Emory University. After years of residing in Chicago, Brooklyn and Winter Park, Florida respectively, Mary Kathryn and her family returned to Atlanta. Since 2004, they have loved living in Grant Park. As a parent, child advocate and education activist, she has been involved with Wesley International Academy and Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School. She is deeply committed to the improvement of area schools, to ensure that Atlanta’s children receive the finest in public education.

As a Buyer’s representative Mary Kathryn has earned the National Board of Realtors advanced designation of ABR, or Accredited Buyer’s Representative. She hosts first-time home buyers workshops quarterly with local lenders, home inspectors and Real Estate Attorneys. The goal is to create informed buyers and reduce the stress that accompanies buying a first home (or the first home in twenty years!). As a Seller’s representative, Mary Kathryn has proven her knowledge of the intown market and market conditions. She is excited by the process of preparing a home for market and making sure that once prepared, it is seen by as many people as necessary to find the perfect buyer. To that end, Mary Kathryn uses both tried and true, and new marketing tools to cast a wide net and maximize the promotion and successful sale of her clients’ homes.

Throughout her career, Mary Kathryn has found that a sense of home—and a sense of humor—is vitally important in determining quality of life. Finding the right community, developing friendships with neighbors, sharing a love and appreciation for in-town living, and continuing to improve these communities is her passion.
